Crime Rise – Hamilton Security

A disturbing increase in Hamilton’s crime rate has led to an increased awareness of security options available to residents and businesses. The Hamilton crime rate increase was raised in State Parliament last month by Member for Western Victoria Jaala Pulford calling for action to reduce crime rate throughout the Western Districts.

The statistics showed a 10.8% increase in crimes against the person, a 25.4% increase in assault, a 26.9% increase in car theft and 11.3% increase in property damage. Overall a 4.8% increase – 109 more crimes.

This is cause for concern and residents and business owners need to consider their security options to protect property, more so than before. Hamilton security options include alarms, CCTV, duress buttons or guards and mobile patrols depending on the industry you are protecting.
