Sectrol Security - Ballarat's Security Experts

Sectrol Systems Pty Ltd is a local family owned security company established in 1979, specialising in security installation, service, monitoring and manufacture of electronic security systems in Ballarat. 

Sectrol Systems Pty Ltd trades as Sectrol Security in the security environment. 

Sectrol Security commenced operation over 30 years ago and was founded by Ken Belsar in response to what he observed as a lack of secure and reliable security systems that met the needs of the client. 

Ken established the business on the motto “Peace of Mind” & a philosophy of “Security before Revenue” developing a radio based security panel that eliminated the need for dependence on telephone line connection & the subsequent risk of line tampering. 

Sectrol Security purchased Southern Cross Security company in October 2006 which broadened our existing clientele in Ballarat. 

Our ability to provide a high quality service and meet all customer security requirements enabled Sectrol Security to purchase Geelong Monitoring Services in April 2007.  

The company has grown to now include an Australian Standard Monitoring and Control Centre which monitors approx 2500+ clients throughout Ballarat, Geelong & Regional Victoria, 24 hours per day. The business supports a staff of around 40, including a service and installation team, sales, research and development and manufacturing departments as well as security operations.
